Hurricane "Dorian" heads for Florida

On its way to the US hurricane "Dorian" spared the Caribbean island Puerto Rico as far as possible. The US Hurricane Center has lifted its warning for the US-owned island nation. "Dorian" is regaining strength and is moving on to Florida with wind speeds of 130 kilometers per hour. There the storm is expected on the weekend. Florida's governor declared a state of emergency for the states that are likely to be affected by the hurricane on Wednesday. Residents were called to stock up on food, water and medicines.
