Storm depression "Eberhard" moves across Germany

Sturmtief "Eberhard" has pulled away over Germany on the weekend. The storm moved at speeds of up to 164 kilometers per hour in the mountains and more than 120 kilometers per hour in the lowlands from west to east across the Federal Republic. In doing so, he caused damage in many places and at times lame rail traffic. Firefighters and police had to resort to hundreds of inserts. In Sauerland, a man was killed by an uprooted tree. Meanwhile, the weather has calmed down again. However, commuters still have to expect restrictions on rail traffic on Monday.
