Hurricane meets Mozambique again
Earth ViewRead out
Only a few weeks after the devastating hurricane "Idai" once again draws a cyclone over the Southeast African state of Mozambique. Cyclone "Kenneth" landed in the northern province of Cabo Delgado last night, having previously moved across the Comoros and claimed there had been three casualties, according to authorities. Due to the storm, a number of flights were canceled in Mozambique on Thursday, with power cuts and trees collapsing. Experts fear that "Kenneth" will cause heavy rains for days that could lead to floods and landslides.
Mozambique is still struggling with the consequences of the tropical cyclone "Idai". It had raged in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi in mid-March, killing around a thousand people and causing more than $ 2 billion in property damage.
